"Yep, he is," Emmett agreed with the girl, releasing another laugh. However, at the emergence of someone behind them, at the distinct voice, the taller guy pushed himself back up to a standing position, and he crossed his arms in front of him as he turned to face their straggler of a brother.
"I'll have you know, it was very upsetting, Edward," he informed him, his tone chastising. "Don't you know it's rude to make people wait? Especially when it comes to food. Alice's stomach was growlin' and everything. You better have a damn good reason for your tardiness."

Edward just rolled his eyes. Well, here it was. He tried to be civilized and avoid any harassment, but it had happened anyway. He considered that it was rather foolish to think that Emmett would've been able to help himself. Glaring to his brother, he just shook his head and looked to Alice, "then, since you were the one who was effected by this, I'll direct my apology solely to you."
"No mistakes, I'd promised myself that I would make no mistakes, no matter how minimal they seemed."
Alice stood beside Emmett when Edward came into the room...looking not-so-happy. And that glare...Oh, Edward. She feigned a stern look, though, as he spoke directly to her. "Well, thank you. But, I mean, I was complaining the whole time. Emmett even got here before me, you should apologize to him before anything else." At least just to make him feel better. That was one dirty look, my brother. She sneaked a small smile to him, in hopes it might lighten his mood, even a little bit. All she could do was try, after all.

Pff! Damn, Eddie... Emmett smirked at that glare Edward had awarded him. He was sure in a mood wasn't he? Well, that was fine, he wasn't about to let him off the hook here just because he was sulking. Hell, if he did that, every time their moody bro was caught up in one of these melancholy fits of his, he'd get away with everything. That just wouldn't do.
"I think it's decided, then," the vampire gave a firm nod. "We both deserve an apology, and an explanation."

Edward simply looked between his two siblings, momentarily feeling guilty for snapping at Emmett when Alice offered that little smile of hers, but then his brother went and pushed, the look in his eyes relentless. He shook his head then, "if I thought you were actually at all hurt, or inconvenienced by the fact that I arrived only ten minutes after you, I would have no problem apologizing." He crossed his arms, "but, seeing as that isn't the case, it won't be happening."
"No mistakes, I'd promised myself that I would make no mistakes, no matter how minimal they seemed."
The abrupt clacking of heels bounced off the walls as Rosalie made her way to the meeting place. Her strut was slightly hurried, but held the same air of determination and elegance she had practiced into becoming second nature. However, she didn't have time to admire herself and the perfection of her walk since she was already running late.
How did this happen?
Deciding it wasn't important yet, she emerged from the hall and into the hunting grounds only to find Emmett and two of her siblings in a heated discussion. Well, it looked heated for Edward, but he looked moody and that's how he acted when he was moody. Deciding to ignore the angsty teen, she glided over to her husband and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Hello, Emmett. Is Edward being annoying again?"
"Admiration was like air to me. I was silly and shallow, but I was content."

He sure was a stubborn ass when he put his mind to it, wasn't he? Emmett merely shook his head as his brother, but, when he noticed the emergence of that crazy lady of his, a smile effortlessly found its way to his expression. She was lookin' mighty sexy today, with that neat little strut of hers, wasn't she? When she wrapped her arms around him, he let his hand slide, around her little waist, and pulled her closer to him.
"Hey, Rose," he returned her greeting, leaning over to press his lips against hers. It was still kind of a weird sensation, how cold and...I don't know, stone-like they were. Just made her seem like some sort of perfect statue or somethin', didn't it? Even so, it was kinda like they were this totally awesome, super-human couple or something. Man of steel and all that, right? Anyway, he turned his head back to Edward, smirk returning, as he informed his wife, "Nah, he's just bein' kinda moody. I think I might be the one doin' the annoying this time around."
Honestly, he didn't feel very annoyed at Edward at all. It was mostly just amusing. And I know you can hear that, kid, he added in his head. So, why don't you drop the mood, and then we can all have a good time, huh? I know it'd make Alice happy.

Niklaus Mikaelson: Heheh. That is quite the title you've concocted for her ;1 But, you're right, and we are all certainly glad you do it, puting this effort into for us. At least it's productive in some way. You could find yourself wasted also. Then where would we be?
